Productivity and Quality Sugarcane Broth at Different Soil Management

The quality of sugarcane broth can be affected by soil management. In compacted soils the productivity is reduced, and raw material poor. This research aimed to evaluate for four management types: (CT) heavy harrow + light harrow; (CTI) Subsoiler (MT) (NT) no movement. variables investigated were resistance penetration (SPR), chemical (broth) crop yield. rows, SPR did not reach severe levels up 0.3 m root development. However, below this layer, MT, NT, CTI reached limiting values 2.50, 2.35 1.95 MPa, respectively. inter-crop compaction was concentrated in surface layers (0–0.3 m). addition, all adopted managements presented above critical value (2 MPa). preparation forms qualitatively broth, showing higher fiber protein contents CT. PS, Brix, TRS, Pol Still, absolute found indicating an increase when applying conservation highest yields obtained reduced tillage (MT), surpassing lowest yield with 10.5 Mg ha−1.
